About Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School was the dream and ambition of the progressive and enlightened gentry of Mullanpur and the surrounding area to give our budding students benefit of more advanced system of education, the latest ideas and technology on the subject of education, right upbringing and proper training. Inspired with these noble ideas and parental love, a Guru Nanak Education and Social Welfare Trust was formed. The Trust took prompt action and started this Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School (10+2), Mullanpur, District – Ludhiana in a rented building on 19 May 1972 with Nursery Class. Now it has gained reorganization throughout the academic world for its commitment to excellence.

The school is alive to shape life long learners by developing their skills as academic achievers, progressive thinkers, effective communicators and empowered citizens.

We also desire to have strong families, parent support and skill training. We aim to encourage each child to be independent and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and respect for others in the environment. We are dedicated to a continuing tradition of excellence in an ever-changing world. Within a safe and supportive environment, we provide a relevant, high quality education and prepare our diverse students for future endeavors. We honor achievements and promote pride in ourselves, in our school and in our community.
